Feeding the hungry!
Beginning Monday, October 2, Wesley UMC is embarking on a new journey. Every Monday and Friday at noon, we are serving a meal to anyone who comes to eat. It is free, no strings attached. We know there are hungry people within the blocks surrounding our church so this ministry intends to offer them food, prepared by a ministry team that feels called to participate. A beautiful invitation has been sent to every mailbox from Main Street south to Bellview and League Street east to Gilmer. That’s potentially over 600 households!
