Volunteer Opportunities Abound at Wesley

Homebound Visitation

Teams of volunteers visit our Shut-ins and Homebound members each week. Other teams of volunteers write a short note to encourage them each week.

Contact Diane Dixon if you are interested in being part of this visiting ministry.

Fellowship Team

This team coordinates the meals served each Wednesday during the school year. They occasionally coordinate other opportunities for fellowship, such as game nights or movie nights.

Multi-Media

More volunteers are needed to run the digital sound board, the screens, and video camera. Previous experience is preferred.

Contact Stanley Foster or Rick Spears if you are interested in being part of this ministry.

Youth

To meet the Ministry Safe requirements, more volunteers are needed to serve our youth. Both male and female adults are needed to be chaperones and mentors to the youth. You will need to complete the required Ministry Safe certification.

Contact Joe Clark if you are interested in being part of this exciting ministry.

Prayer Blankets

This ministry provides a soft blanket with a border of knots to critically ill members or someone who is dealing with major life problems to let them know we have prayed for them and will continue to pray for them. Church members pray for the person while tying each knot. When the person receives the blanket, they are covered in love and prayers.

Contact Dorothy McCaig if you are interested in being part of this vibrant ministry.

Choir & Music Team

Do you like to sing? Do you play an instrument? We have a place for you. Our choir leads worship almost every Sunday and is open to anyone who would like to be a member. No tryouts, no stress, just fun. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the Choir Room.
