Children's Mardi Gras Parade

You are invited to our Pancake Supper followed by the Children’s Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday, February 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m. This day represents the end of the Church season called Epiphany and the beginning of Lent. It is the last big celebration before we contemplate the Passion and Death of Christ during Holy Week. It’s also called ‘Fat Tuesday.’ Let the good times roll!

The children will make their masks for the parade this Wednesday (February 3) during their weekly activity time. The meal is served at 6 p.m. and Children activities begin about 6:45 p.m. For the parade the children should decorate and bring their bikes, tricycles, wagons or wheeled vehicle. Use streamers, balloons, lights, or whatever you have to add to the festivities.
